Here's something I did over the holidays for Matt's mom. Her friend has this gorgeous estate in Watsonville, CA. I went over there to take some pictures for the painting and discovered this beautiful pond! It was almost like something out of a story book. I had to paint it!

CDA drawings

Here are some drawings I did last night in my class at CDA. I am ghetto, I took pictures of them via my Photobooth on my computer because my scanner isn't working at the moment.

These were way fun! there was one that was 30 seconds, and i think the rest were 3 min? Some of them are stylized because we are supposed to be playing with the models proportions and design a character based on the model. We are going to be doing these for the next 2 weeks. I can't wait til the next class!

Color Comping

My class at CDA is going so well. I havne't had anything to post because we are still retouching the basics of the anatomy in the language of animation. Next week we are going to have a model come in which I am super psyched about! Anyway, the class has been so inspiring, I woke up early to do some color comps before work today! I hope to get better at color, so I guess I better pay my dues!

Fame Town!

Here are some paintings I did for FameTown. A new Facebook game bringing Hollywood to life. Everyone starts as a D list actor working their way up to fame and money and to the A list by starring in movies and going to social events. It blurs the line between the entertainment industry and the social gaming industry by sponsorships from Sony Entertainment, Showtime and other studios advertising their movies and tv shows in the game. Ah, haven't uploaded in a looong time. Work has taken over since season 3 started. I am going to take a Figure Invention for Animation at CDA starting Monday with Rad Sechrist. I am SO excited! I haven't taken a class in a while, I cant wait! Hopefully I will remember to post my homework =D

Fat lady Catwalk

I went camping over Memorial Day weekend up in Coloma near Sac. Here are the two paintings i did by the river. I had to give one away because the owner of the camp ground's daughter just graduated college, we wanted to use it as a card. So all I have left of it is a really crappy picture. I wish I had taken a better one. The second one is not as good as I had hoped. I painted under the sun and that was a very bad idea. I got sun burned on my neck even though it was only 10:30 in the morning.
